What Our Students Say

  • Casey Cathey

The Weekend MBA program is lockstep, includes books, food, and constant access to materials and professors. After 2.5 years, you have a full-blown Masters of Business Administration, with no shortcuts. There are many programs that I looked at that are far more expensive. I ultimately chose UALR because I know it is a good school. My company has hired a number of undergraduates from UALR, who are sharp and have great work ethic. Also, the Weekend aspect of the program is extremely appealing to my lifestyle. Though there is a lot of self study, this is not an online degree. I feel I get more out of the class time and collaborative nature of classmates compared to a full online degree.

  • Gloria Richard-Davis

I considered a number of executive MBA programs, but needed one that fit into my professional & personal life. As a busy practicing Physician at UAMS, wife & mother, I needed flexibility. The weekend MBA hybrid program was a perfect blend of in class & online learning. The faculty and administration were great. The study abroad in Austria learning about their healthcare system was a phenomenal experience. The broad professional experiences of my classmates made for rich discussions in class & working in teams. I made lifelong friends & colleagues. The program exceeded my expectations!!
